Sanskrit Camp Participants Learning the Art of Poetry Composition

Udaipur: At the regional awareness camp organized by Sanskrit Bharati in Udaipur, students are not only gaining knowledge of the Sanskrit language but also learning the art of poetry composition. This group of students, ranging from 8th grade to college level, is developing creative skills through Sanskrit.

At this camp, being held at Alok School in Fatehpur, participants are being taught the rules of composing poetry in a simple manner, after which they successfully compose their own verses on topics such as Ram, Makar Sankranti, and Republic Day. This innovation is not only enhancing their creativity but also increasing their interest in the Sanskrit language.

On this occasion, the camp was also visited by Hemendra Shrimali, the department head of the organization, and Pankaj Paliwal, the head of arrangements, who shared their experiences regarding the state of Sanskrit knowledge.

Earlier, rural MLA Phool Singh Meena also visited the camp and encouraged the students to treat Sanskrit as their mother tongue, emphasizing the importance of the vast knowledge available in Sanskrit and motivating them to make Sanskrit a practical language. Along with him, Amba Mata Thanadikari Dr. Hanumat Singh Rajpurohit also interacted with the students, educating them on Sanskrit as the supreme language, introducing them to the teachings of the Gita and the values of the Ramayana, and emphasizing the importance of using Sanskrit in everyday life.

Coordinator Narendra Sharma explained that the daily routine of the camp runs from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, maintaining strict discipline and busy schedules. The students are engaged in various sessions that include language knowledge, grammar, poetry composition, and the study of Sanskrit literature. The main aim of the camp is to spark interest in Sanskrit among youth and make it a useful tool in daily life. Whether it is during meals or casual conversations, all participants communicate in Sanskrit, correcting each other's mistakes.

Sharma further mentioned that on the evening of January 4, a ceremony will be held where the campers will showcase their learnings in presentations. This ceremony will not only display their progress but also inspire other students. The camp will conclude with a convocation ceremony on the morning of January 5.

During the camp, the main instructors, Meetha Lal, Dr. Manaram, and Dr. Madhusudan, provided training.

At this event, Mangal Kumar Jain, Dr. Himanshu Bhatt, Rekha Sisodia, Shriyansh Kansara, Narendra Sharma, Dushyant Nagda, Dr. Renu Paliwal, Durga Kumawat, Kuldeep Joshi, and others played a key role in the organization and operation of the camp.
