Udaipur: The Mahavir Jain Jagruti Parishad Udaipur organized a ceremony for the launch of its 2025 calendar at its campus in Hiran Magri, Sector 4.
The founder-president, Himmatlal Vya, informed that the event began with the offering of flowers at the portrait of Lord Mahavir by Anandilal Bamboria, Secretary of the Oswal Sabha. Vya welcomed the guests with words of appreciation. On this occasion, the Parishad’s founder-secretary, Arun Vya, was honored with a shawl and garlands for being appointed as an executive member of the All India Shwetambar Sthanakvasi Jain Conference, New Delhi.
During the event, the president of the Parishad expressed gratitude to the donors who contributed to the calendar. It was also shared that the proposal to name the crossroad near the Welcome Garden as "Swagat Vatika" is under consideration by the divisional commissioner.
The ceremony was attended by Parishad members Arun Vya, Dinesh Nandawat, Ramesh Mehta, Anandilal Bamboria, Rajendra Akhawat, Hemant Pamecha, Madanlal Singhal, Rajesh Vya, Pritesh Kumar Jain, Rajendra Ji Danga, Roshan Lal Lodha, Suresh Kumar Jain, and other members, along with the women’s committee members Chanchal Mandawat, Kusum Mehta, Sadhna Mogara, Sangeeta Jaroali, Monica Pangaria, Alpna Vya, Geeta Wagrecha, and others.
During the event, it was also decided to hold a meeting soon to discuss the upcoming Mahavir Jayanti celebrations and to appoint committee coordinators.
Currently, the Parishad is receiving guidance and support from around 40 local organizations.
