Launch of Heartfulness ODC for Personal Excellence (HOPE) Workshop

Udaipur: The Heartfulness Meditation Shri Ramchandra Mission Udaipur Center launched the Heartfulness ODC for Personal Excellence (HOPE) program today. As part of this program, practitioners of the mission will engage in self-learning through brief group discussions, special sessions on key topics, personal meditation sessions, collective satsang sessions, educational service work, and personal reflection, all aimed at deepening their practice. The program includes exercises on observation, study, writing, listening, questioning, discussions, reflection, sharing, and witnessing, along with teachings on spiritual cycles, teaching cycles, and methods to stay spiritually connected.

At the beginning of the program, Center Coordinator Dr. Rakesh Dashora provided an overview of the HOPE workshop, and Advocate Mugdha explained the objectives and learning process during the opening session. Participants were divided into three small groups—Prayer, Practice, and Devotion—under the Short Discussion Group (SDG) format, allowing them to learn through self-study.

The program was also supported by Dr. Subodh Sharma, Dr. Kailash Tiwari, Dr. Namrata Jain, Indu Tiwari, and Manoj Agarwal, who provided motivation and facilitated the event. The next session is scheduled for 9 February. It is notable that this HOPE program is being launched simultaneously across Rajasthan on 19 January and will run for two months.

At the end of the session, Tree Pose (Vrikshasana) was conducted, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Zone Coordinator Madhu Mehta.

The Center Coordinator also shared that, as in previous years, the results of the 2024 All India Heartfulness Essay Writing Competition, jointly organized by the United Nations and Heartfulness Institute, were recently announced. It is a matter of pride that in the Hindi language Category 1 (age group 14 to 18 years), Miss Komal Dave, a student of Central Academy Senior Secondary School, Sardar Pura, Udaipur, secured the 10th position nationwide.
