Dr. Pushkar Sharma Awarded Best Corporate Librarian

Udaipur: Dr. Pushkar Sharma from Udaipur was honored with the Best Corporate Librarian Award at an international conference held in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The award was presented at the International Conference on Library Science, held from February 20-22, 2025, with the theme "Nolan Organization in Academic Libraries - Innovative Library Practices in the Digital Era Aligned with National Education Policy for Developed India 2047." The award was presented by Professor Poonam Tandon, Vice Chancellor of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University, Gorakhpur, and Professor Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of Bihar Central University.

Dr. Pushkar, originally from Badgaon, Udaipur, is currently serving as the Deputy General Manager (Library) at the Corporate Headquarters of NHPC Limited, a Government of India Navratna Company, in Faridabad. Dr. Sharma holds a PhD in Library Science from Mohanlal Sukhadia University and has over 32 years of experience in both academic and corporate libraries. Dr. Pushkar has presented papers at several national and international conferences. He has also been previously awarded at the national level by the Government of India.
