Action Taken by the Supply Department – Illegal Gas Cylinders and Equipment Seized

Udaipur: In compliance with state government guidelines, a special investigation team was formed to prevent the illegal storage of gas cylinders and equipment, along with the misuse of domestic gas for commercial purposes, which results in revenue loss. As part of their weekly action, the team conducted inspections in various establishments in the Dabok area of the Mavli block in the district. 

District Supply Officer Manish Bhattnagar reported that during the surprise inspection conducted by Enforcement Officers Mrs. Pinky Bhati, Mrs. Mansi Pandya, Enforcement Inspector Abhishek Kinchi, Raghunath Singh Rathore, and Rahul Tanwar, 13 domestic gas cylinders, 4 commercial gas cylinders, and a gas refilling machine were seized from the establishment "Shri Balaji Gas Service" located near the JK Cement Factory in Dabok.

Bhattnagar stated that necessary action will be taken against the offending firms under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, and the investigation will continue.
