Udaipur: A one-day district-level workshop was organized under the Nutrition Campaign, chaired by Nandlal Meghwal, Deputy Director of the Women and Child Development Department, at the District Council Hall in Udaipur. Garima Upadhyay, Child Development Project Officer from Badgaon, welcomed all the attendees, including representatives from various NGOs.
During the workshop, representatives from the Jatan Organization highlighted the importance of nutrition and provided detailed information about government schemes aimed at improving the nutrition of women and children. A nutrition quiz was also conducted.
District Coordinator NNMs Kapil Gautam and Lokesh Krishnawat shared insights on the Nutrition Campaign and the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY). Participants who performed excellently in departmental activities such as NNMs and PMMVY were honored with certificates and mementos.
The workshop also focused on strategies for ensuring 100% daily entry of activities on the Nutrition Tracker, and discussed how to successfully organize community events such as Annaprashan, Godbharai, and Jan Swasthya Divas at Anganwadi centers. The meeting concluded with instructions for all Child Development Project Officers to ensure the successful implementation of the program.
The workshop saw participation from Child Development Project Officers from Udaipur and Salumber, along with women supervisors, Anganwadi workers, and district/block coordinators.
