District Election Officer Holds Meeting with Political Parties' Representatives

Udaipur: As per the instructions from the Election Department, District Election Officer and Collector Namit Mehta held a meeting with representatives from all recognized political parties at the Mini Auditorium in the Collectorate on Monday. 

During the meeting, Deputy District Election Officer, ADM Administration Deependra Singh Rathore, welcomed the attendees and briefed them on the directives issued by the Election Department. Rathore discussed topics such as increasing the EP ratio, gender ratio, and appointing booth-level agents at each polling station. 

The District Election Officer urged all political parties to appoint booth-level agents within the stipulated time to ensure the timely processing of election-related procedures. He emphasized that the process of adding names to the voter list is continuous, and citizens can either do so via BLOs or directly through an app. He encouraged all eligible individuals to ensure their names are added to the voter list and urged political parties to help spread awareness about the department’s portal and app.

Rathore also provided information on the quarterly inspections of EVM warehouses and requested the political parties' representatives to attend these inspections. 

Representatives from major political parties, including the BJP, Congress, CPI, BSP, AAP, and CPI(M), attended the meeting. Key attendees included BJP’s Puskar Teli, Manish Sharma, Congress’s Kacharulal Choudhary, Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, and others.
