Udaipur: "A person endowed with self-confidence remains steadfast and unwavering in any situation, climbing the peaks of success. Nothing is impossible for such a person," said Prashant Agarwal, President of Narayan Seva Sansthan, during the inauguration of the four-day 'Apno Se Apni Baat' program. The event was organized for people with disabilities from various states who had come to receive free surgeries and prosthetic limbs (arms and legs).
In his address, Prashant Agarwal emphasized that success requires climbing one step at a time—attempting to leap ahead often leads to failure. He highlighted that self-confidence ensures success and that abandoning despair, hopelessness, and negative thoughts is necessary for achieving one's goals. Agarwal also quoted Lord Krishna’s teachings to Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita, calling them the true benchmark of life, which helps individuals manage their lives effectively.
He further encouraged the audience to always trust in God, viewing obstacles and suffering as reminders to stay alert rather than as signs of defeat. If there is a lack in one area of life, God has blessed us with other gifts which need to be identified and developed.
Focusing on the importance of a vegetarian diet, Agarwal stressed that killing animals is a grave sin, and a sattvic diet helps purify both behavior and thoughts. He also urged the attendees to control anger, as it only leads to harm. "What we give to others, we receive in return," he concluded.
The event saw participants with disabilities sharing their personal experiences and challenges, and it was broadcast nationwide on the 'Aastha' channel.
