A state-level quiz competition was organized jointly by the Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society and the Red Ribbon Club of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. The event took place in the university's auditorium, aiming to foster awareness about HIV/AIDS among students and the community.
Dr. P.S. Rajput, the convenor of the university's Red Ribbon Club, emphasized that the primary objective of the competition was to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS and inspire collective action toward achieving an AIDS-free India by 2030 through various innovative initiatives.
Participants from over 40 educational institutions across different districts of Rajasthan took part in the competition. Teams were named after prominent historical sites in the state, such as Haldighati, Sajjangarh, Chittorgarh, Menal, and Kumbhalgarh. The event was structured into five distinct rounds, testing the knowledge and awareness of the participants.
In a display of exceptional talent, the team from Creative Brain Academy, Rajsamand, comprising Varsha Inani, Liza Rathore, and Aryan Sharma, secured the first position. The second position was claimed by Lovesh Goyal and Lakhan Bairagi from Vidya Global School, Bhilwara. Meanwhile, Hemendra Singh Sisodia from Government School, Dhar, and Sakshi Suthar from Government School, Madar, bagged the third position. All winning teams were awarded certificates and mementos and were selected to represent the state in the upcoming national-level competition.
The event witnessed the active participation of Red Ribbon Club members, including Garima Bhati, Priyanka, Anuj Yadav, Jitendra Meghwal, and Shravan Kumar Shrimali, along with numerous other students who contributed to the program's success.
