Udaipur — Dr. V.C. Garg, the Registrar of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, addressed students at the farewell and welcome ceremony for the Geography Department's postgraduate fourth-semester students. Dr. Garg emphasized that transforming challenges into opportunities is the key to success.
In his address, Dr. Garg shared his personal experiences from student life and his journey to becoming a Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer, inspiring students with his story. The department also honored Dr. Garg, a former student, for his achievements.
Professor Digvijay Bhatnagar, Associate Dean of the Arts College, praised the department's progress and academic achievements over the years. Department Head Professor Seema Jalan welcomed the new students and wished them a bright future. Assistant Professor Dr. Devendra Singh Chauhan presented an overview of the department's students' achievements from the previous session.
During the event, Anmol Soni was awarded Miss Farewell, Ramram was named Mr. Farewell, Devanshi Shrimali was honored as Miss Fresher, and Akshat Khandelwal was selected as Mr. Fresher. The ceremony was organized by the third-semester students and conducted by Krishna Kunwar. Also present were Assistant Professors Dr. Bhawar Vishwendra Singh, Dr. Urmi Sharma, Dr. Sabiya Khan, and Dr. Vijay Singh Meena.
