Udaipur: The youth wing of the All-World Gayatri Pariwar, Diya Rajasthan, in collaboration with UNICEF and Mohanlal Sukhadia University, is set to organize a unique youth festival, Aarohan, on December 24-25 at the university campus. The event aims to provide young individuals with a platform to openly discuss their daily struggles while introducing them to spiritual solutions through various engaging activities.
This festival will help youth navigate a spiritually guided life, addressing aspects such as holistic health, career, finance, and relationships. The event will feature panel discussions, self-help activities, music, a book fair, a changemaker exhibition, and numerous youth-centric programs. The collaboration between Diya Rajasthan and Mohanlal Sukhadia University seeks to benefit students across Mewar and Vagad regions.
Aarohan Coordinator Pranay Tripathi shared that the first edition of Aarohan took place during the Ashwamedha Yagna in Mumbai, attracting over 10,000 participants. The second edition in Mewar is expected to draw youth from across the country, with guidance from over 45 subject-matter experts.
As part of the festival’s prelude, weekly youth-oriented activities are being conducted at various colleges under Diya Cells. These include personality development classes, workshops on diet and routines, spiritual poetry sessions, trekking, devotional evenings, group discussions, and extempore speeches. Over 250 participants have already received certificates for their involvement.
Organizing Committee member Ramesh Asawa highlighted that Aarohan offers a platform for the youth of Mewar and Vagad to explore spiritual solutions to their daily struggles. From Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Prof. Baludan Barhat has been appointed as the festival’s nodal officer.
