Seminar on India-Korea Advanced Technical Cooperation

Udaipur: An India-Korea seminar on advanced technologies used in atomic and molecular optics was held at Mohanlal Sukhadia University. The seminar, organized by the Department of Physics, featured discussions on cutting-edge research and modern technologies being employed in Korea. Ten renowned scientists from Korea's advanced technology and educational institutions presented details of the latest research conducted in Korea. 

Professor K.T. Kim, Director of the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, delivered a lecture on the technical aspects of attosecond pulse lasers, explaining the use of modern technologies in the study of ultra-fast atomic dynamics. 

Professor Jiang from the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute highlighted the participation of Indian scientists in the world-class experimental technologies at the institute, while Professor Fabian from KAIST, Korea, elaborated on various new technologies in the fields of optics and photonics research.

The university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Sunita Mishra, welcomed the invited Korean scientists and expressed hope that the seminar would benefit the university's future research projects and boost collaborative research between India and Korea. 

Professor K.B. Joshi, Professor Sudhish Kumar, Professor M.S. Dhaka, Dr. Ghanshyam Purohit, Dr. Gunjan Arora, Dr. Dinesh Patidar, and Dr. Lekhraj Meena guided the Korean delegation through various research laboratories in the department and provided insights into the ongoing research work. A direct interaction session was organized with the department's faculty, researchers, and postgraduate students, where all participants actively engaged with the Korean scientists.
