*Udaipur**: Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajeet Kumar Karnataka congratulated the newly appointed directors and deans of various departments and colleges under the university.

#### Dr. Sunil Joshi Appointed Director of Planning and Monitoring Directorate

Dr. Sunil Joshi, a professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, has been appointed as the Director of the Directorate of Planning and Monitoring. With 30 years of experience, Dr. Joshi has made significant contributions in developing new technologies in wireless communication, IoT, sensors, and robotics. Additionally, he has been instrumental in advancing modern technologies for the agricultural sector at MPUAT, Udaipur.

#### Dr. R. B. Dubey Appointed Dean of Rajasthan College of Agriculture

Dr. R. B. Dubey has been appointed as the Dean of Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Seeds and Farms, Dr. Dubey is a renowned maize breeder who has developed 14 varieties of maize and medicinal crops at both national and state levels. He has published over 250 research papers and articles in national and international journals, authored five books, and guided more than 25 M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. Dr. Dubey has also served as a selection committee member for professors at various universities, nominated by the Governor and the government.

#### Professor Dhriti Solanki Assumes Role as Dean of College of Community and Applied Sciences

Professor Dhriti Solanki has been appointed as the Dean of the College of Community and Applied Sciences. Dr. Solanki has been involved in extension and teaching work for the past 33 years, serving in various positions within the college. Her contributions to the college's development and upliftment are commendable. Her main objectives are to enhance the quality of education, develop students' skills, provide excellent employment opportunities, and elevate the college to new heights.

#### Dr. Anupam Bhatnagar Named Dean of College of Technology and Engineering

Dr. Anupam Bhatnagar has been appointed as the Dean of the College of Technology and Engineering. Dr. Bhatnagar brings 33 years of extensive experience in the field of mining to the position.
