Udaipur: During the review meeting held on Friday with the agricultural science centers of the affiliated divisions of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, the newly promoted scientists and teachers expressed their gratitude to Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnataka by presenting him with a traditional Mewari saafa and a commemorative gift. Dr. Karnataka, in return, honored all the newly promoted teachers by offering them sweets and garlanding them.
It is noteworthy that in the recently concluded meeting of the University Management Board (BOM), a total of 44 scientific teachers were promoted under the Career Advancement Scheme. Among them, 10 assistant professors were promoted to senior scale, two scientists were elevated to Associate Professor positions, and 32 teachers who were serving as Associate Professors were promoted to the rank of Professor.
At the ceremony, six scientists who were promoted to the rank of Professor—Dr. B.L. Rauth (Dungarpur), Dr. P.C. Regar (Rajsamand), Dr. Yogesh Kanojia (Pratapgarh), Dr. R.L. Solanki (Chittorgarh), Dr. K.C. Nagar (Bhilwara), and Associate Professor Dr. Rajesh Jalwania (Shahpura)—expressed their gratitude for the completion of the long-pending promotion process.
Dr. Karnataka, while offering his success mantra, said, "If someone takes one step forward for you, it is your responsibility to take two steps for them. This kindness helps elevate a person in society." He also thanked the scientists Dr. S.L. Intodia and Dr. Virendra Nepalya for their cooperation in completing the promotion process.
