### NIMS Organizes Extension and Outreach Program in Jaipur Rural Area

**Extension and Outreach Programs provide opportunities to understand and meet the real needs of the local community: Prof. Amarika Singh, Pro-Chancellor, NIMS University**

**Jaipur,  NIMS University Rajasthan organized a significant Extension and Outreach Program in the rural assembly constituency of Jaipur, in the village of Macheri, Amer Tehsil. Prof. Amarika Singh, Pro-Chancellor of NIMS University, participated as the "Chief Guest" in this event. A free dental check-up and consultation camp was also organized on this occasion.

This camp, organized with the support of the Panchayat of Macheri village, provided free dental solutions to the villagers by specialists in the field of dentistry. The main objective of this camp was to provide high-quality dental services to the villagers and address their health-related issues.

During the camp, prominent figures such as the Sarpanch of Macheri Panchayat, Mr. Surendra Kumar Maurya, philanthropist and RUGS Chairman Mr. Nandkishore Chaudhary, and other local representatives were present. These representatives played a crucial role in the successful organization of the camp and expressed their commitment to the health of the local community.

In his address, Prof. Amarika Singh highlighted the social responsibility of NIMS University and its efforts to improve rural health. He stated, "Our aim is to ensure that even people in rural areas receive high-quality health services. Such programs provide us with opportunities to understand and meet the real needs of the local community."

The villagers expressed their gratitude to the university for the dental check-up and consultation and hoped for the continuity of such initiatives. Camps like these are likely to promote health awareness and increase access to facilities in rural areas.

During the free dental check-up and consultation camp, various subject experts from NIMS University’s Dental College, Paramedical College, and Physiotherapy College, including Dr. Sharad Sharma, Dr. Upadhyay, Dr. Vyom Thakur, Dr. Vijayalakshmi, Dr. Jyoti Rathi, Dr. Pankaj Chaudhary, Dr. Jahanvi, and administrative officer Radheshyam Gurjar, were present.
