TANOT BRIGADE WINS JAIPUR MILITARY STATION CRICKET TOURNAMENT

Jaipur, A Station Cricket Tournament was organised at Gandiv Stadium in Jaipur Military Station from 07-18 Mar 2023.

Teams from Tanot Brigade, Sapta Shakti Command & HQ 61 Sub Area participated in the tournament which was played on round robin league followed by finals between top two teams.

The final match was played between Tanot Brigade & HQ 61 Sub Area teams on 18th Mar. In a thrilling & nail-biting contest, Tanot Brigade won the match on the last ball. HQ 61 Sub Area team scored 162 runs in 20 overs which was successfully chased by Tanot Brigade with four wickets in hand to win the tournament.

Maj Varun was adjudged Man of the match for his brilliant half century. Capt Sumit Mohan was the Man of the Series, while Commander Tanot Brigade Brig S K Yadav was adjudged best bowler & Col Sati was named best fielder of the tournament.

Chief guest, GOC 61 Sub Area Maj Gen Rai Singh Godara presented the trophy to the winners and individual medals to the players of Winner & Runners up teams. The event was graced by the presence of other distinguished guests to include Brig JS Bisht, Station Commander, officers, ladies as well as children.
