Conclusion of 15-Day Programs on World No Tobacco Day

**Udaipur** - The Department of Public Health Dentistry at Pacific Dental College and Hospital organized a series of events and activities over 15 days to mark World No Tobacco Day. These initiatives included oral cancer screening camps and awareness programs for truck drivers and their attendants at Transport Nagar in Pratapnagar, daily wage workers at Pratapnagar Chauraha, factory employees and laborers at Madri Industrial Area, and villagers and school students at Bichhri Gram Panchayat Bhavan.

Additionally, a training program on oral cancer was conducted for nursing and pharmacy students at PIMS Umarda Campus. The students were educated on critical aspects of oral cancer, methods of oral examination, and treatment options. Various competitions, including reel making, slogan writing, poster competition, and meme creation, were organized for the students of Pacific Dental College. 

Furthermore, patients visiting the dental hospital and the doctors working there were administered a pledge to quit tobacco. The series of events saw the active participation of Principal Dr. Bhagwandas Rai, Head of Department Dr. Kailash Asawa, Dr. Mridula Tak, Dr. Suresh Dashora, and their team of doctors.
