Ultrasound a Ray of Hope for Women Suffering from Endometriosis: Dr. Hariram

Udaipur: Dr. Hariram, Head of the Radiodiagnosis Department at PIMS Hospital, Umarda, stated that ultrasound plays a crucial role in diagnosing menstrual disorders like endometriosis in women. He was speaking at the 31st Annual Conference of the Rajasthan IRIA Radiology. Dr. Hariram explained that infertility among women is rising rapidly, with endometriosis being a major contributing factor. This condition affects millions of women and causes significant distress, particularly when they are trying to conceive or during their periods. He further explained that ultrasound testing can quickly and accurately diagnose endometriosis, enabling timely treatment. The test not only confirms the presence of the disease but also assesses its severity and spread. Over 500 radiologists from across the state attending the conference praised Dr. Hariram’s research.
