Udaipur, June 20th - The completion of the second convocation ceremony of Sai Tirupati University was announced today. The event took place at the Mewar Banquet Hall, Shilpgram, where 150 MBBS students from the 2016 and 2017 batches received their degrees. Dr. Vipin Mathur, the Principal and Controller of RNT Medical College, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Prominent figures from Sai Tirupati University including Chairperson Ashish Agarwal, Co-Chairperson Sheetal Aggarwal, Vice Chancellor Dr. J.O. Chhaparwal, Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain, and Principal and Controller of PIMS Dr. Suresh Goyal, were also present.
In his address, Dr. Vipin Mathur congratulated the medical graduates on their academic accomplishments and emphasized the importance of hard work and unwavering dedication in the medical field. He highlighted the significant advancements in medical science and urged the graduates to serve humanity with commitment and empathy. Ashish Agarwal, the Chairperson of Sai Tirupati University, acknowledged the university's journey of eight years, filled with various challenges and achievements. He commended the students of the 2016-2017 MBBS batch for their perseverance and emphasized the importance of a lifelong thirst for knowledge. Co-Chairperson Sheetal Agarwal deemed the convocation ceremony a remarkable occasion, celebrating the students' hard work and dedication over the years. During his welcome address, Vice Chancellor Dr. Chhaparwal provided a brief overview of the university's accomplishments. He mentioned that the university spans over 31.67 acres and offers academic programs and research in various disciplines, including medical science, nursing, physiotherapy, paramedical science, fashion technology and management, and pharmacy. Dr. Chhaparwal stated that the university is duly approved by the Rajasthan State Government and has obtained the necessary permissions from regulatory bodies for all the vocational courses. He quoted that wherever the art of medicine is loved, there is love for humanity, and commended the graduates for their noble pursuit of saving lives.
Dr. Sureshchandra Goyal, the Principal and Controller of PIMS, expressed his immense pleasure and pride in awarding MBBS degrees to three hundred students. He recognized their hard work and stated that their dreams of becoming doctors had come true. Dr. Goyal administered an oath to all the students, signifying their commitment to the medical profession.
Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain highlighted the significance of hard work and discipline, which led the students to their current position as doctors. In a concluding gesture, Dr. Jain recognized the top-performing students by awarding them certificates and medals for their outstanding performance in the MBBS examination. Tanya Khemchandani and Kanishka Agarwal secured the first and second positions, respectively, in the MBBS 2016 batch, while Anukreethy Paneri and Pujara Riya achieved the first and second positions in the MBBS 2017 batch.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the students shared their six-year journey of obtaining an MBBS degree. They attributed their success to discipline, regular attendance, and unwavering dedication. The students expressed their gratitude to Ashish Aggarwal and Sheetal Aggarwal for their exceptional guidance and encouragement, acknowledging their pivotal role in reaching this milestone.
