International Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm

Udaipur. The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Pacific Dental College and Research Centre enthusiastically celebrated International Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Day. The event featured various academic and creative activities, including face painting, rangoli competition, and soap carving.

The primary objective of this celebration was to raise awareness about oral and maxillofacial surgery, educate students on its depth, and inform the general public about oral and jaw-related diseases and their treatments.

Head of the Department, Dr. Gaurav Bhardwaj, stated that a one-day workshop was organized, emphasizing the role and significance of maxillofacial surgeons.

During the workshop, Associate Professor Dr. Priyank Rai provided insights into the early detection and prevention of oral cancer. Additionally, postgraduate students conducted an awareness campaign, educating the public about oral cancer symptoms, causes, and preventive measures.

The event was attended by PDRC Principal Dr. Ravi Kumar, Assistant Professors Dr. Mahbub Hooda, Dr. Alfisha, Dr. Shailee, and Dr. Rishabh. The program was coordinated by Dr. Taru Yadav.
