Oral Pathology Workshop Organized at Pacific Dental College

Udaipur . A special workshop was organized at Pacific Dental College & Research Centre of Pacific Medical University on the occasion of Oral Pathology Day. Organizer and Oral Pathologist Dr. Juhi Soni stated that the primary objective of this workshop was to raise awareness among dental students about oral cancer and other related diseases, enabling them to guide their future patients correctly and contribute to spreading awareness about this condition.

On this occasion, Oncopathologist Dr. Kavita Gupta highlighted the alarming rise in cancer cases among young individuals, especially oral cancer, which affects the mouth and jaw. She emphasized that early detection is the most effective way to prevent this disease.

Dr. Kavita explained methods to identify the early symptoms of oral cancer and stressed the importance of regular oral check-ups. She also advised students on adopting a healthy lifestyle and avoiding tobacco and alcohol consumption to reduce the risk of oral cancer.

The workshop was attended by PDCRC Principal Dr. Ravi Kumar, along with other department heads and faculty members. All participating students pledged to remain vigilant and spread awareness about oral cancer prevention.
