Successful Conclusion of Good Clinical Practice Workshop

Udaipur – The Good Clinical Practice (GCP) workshop, organized by the Departments of Pharmacology and Biochemistry at Pacific Medical College & Hospital (PMCH), Udaipur, concluded successfully today. The workshop aimed to promote ethics and quality in clinical research. Over two days, doctors, researchers, and academicians participated in discussions on various crucial aspects of GCP compliance.

Dr. M.M. Mangal, Vice-Chancellor of Pacific Medical University, emphasized that the workshop served as an effective platform for researchers and clinicians to gain an in-depth understanding of GCP principles. PMCH Principal Dr. U.S. Parihar expressed satisfaction over the success of the workshop, stating that such training programs help enhance the quality of clinical research.

Workshop Chairperson Dr. Neeta Sahi highlighted that such training programs bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation. On the second day, various experts delivered insightful lectures on key topics.

Dr. Arkapal Bandyopadhyay from AIIMS Kalyani discussed GCP and compliant protocols, while Dr. Waridh Katiyar from AIIMS Nagpur spoke on quality assurance and quality control. Dr. Arun Harith from Amrita Medical College, Faridabad, elaborated on Good Clinical Laboratory Practice.

Dr. Khushboo Bisht from AIIMS Nagpur conducted a session on informed consent and documentation in clinical trials. Tarun Gupta from Vaidyarx Pvt. Ltd. introduced the latest advancements in digital healthcare solutions.
