Special Lecture on Medicolegal Aspects at PMCH

Udaipur, 26th December. A special lecture on medicolegal aspects was delivered by Dr. Sushil Kumar Gupta, a radiologist and medicolegal expert, at Pacific Medical College and Hospital. The event was attended by Dr. M.M. Mangal, President of Pacific Medical University, Dr. U.S. Parihar, Principal and Dean of PMCH, Dr. R.K. Paliwal, Dr. H.P. Gupta, Dr. Kapil Vyas, Dr. Neeta Sahi, along with faculty members and students of the college.

The lecture focused on the importance of understanding the legal and ethical responsibilities for medical professionals. Dr. Sushil Kumar Gupta emphasized the need for professionals in the medical field to be well-versed in both their professional duties and legal regulations. He discussed various legal aspects of medicine, such as patient consent, medical negligence, and the confidentiality of medical records.

Dr. Gupta also provided practical suggestions on dealing with complex legal situations, using real case examples. A Q&A session was held at the end of the lecture, where students and faculty members enthusiastically participated.
