SPSU in collaboration with Xebia organised Xe-thon 2025 on April 7, 2025. More
than 200 students participated in a dynamic hackathon. The event was conducted
under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav, Honourable President and Vice
Chancellor SPSU, whose continued encouragement and strategic vision have been
pivotal in fostering innovation and industry collaboration at the university. The
hackathon provided a platform for students to solve complex problems,
demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills.
Team Qubitz won first place for their innovative and thorough solution, while Team
Visioneer were the runner-up with their impressive application of technology. Judges
Mr. Raygun Jose and Mr. Deepak Kumar provided valuable feedback to participants.
Ms. Gunjan Saini from Xebia Academy held an interactive session on "Mastery of
Clear and Impactful Communication," while Mr. Kshitij Kumar Singh spoke on
"Industry Expectations and Job Opportunities," offering key career insights.
The event also facilitated networking and learning, allowing students to connect with
industry leaders. Prof. Amit Goel, Dean of FCI, SPSU, delivered a closing speech
and awarded prizes to the winners.
Xe-thon 2025 showcased the power of collaboration and innovation, with SPSU and
Xebia continuing their commitment to fostering the next generation of tech leaders.
Dr. Arun Vaishnav, Dr. Manuj Joshi, and Dr. Chandini Joshi were instrumental in the
success of Xe-thon 2025, providing essential leadership and ensuring a smooth and
impactful event.
