###SPSU Hosted Combined NCC Annual Training Camp

Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur in collaboration with 22 Raj R & B Regiment N.C.C. Navania organised a ten-day Combined NCC Annual Training Camp from July 1-10, 2024. The Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav announced that the camp aimed to provide comprehensive training to the cadets. Prof. Yadav emphasized the university's dedication to holistic education and development, highlighting the significance of such training camps in building discipline and leadership qualities among students.

The camp commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and prayers to Goddess Saraswati, led by esteemed dignitaries including Group Commander Colonel Bhaskar Chakravarty, Camp Commandant Colonel E. N. Manoj, Lt. Col. Neeraj Kumar, Campus Director, and Lieutenant Dr. D. S. Chouhan. Over 500 cadets from more than 20 schools and colleges across Rajasthan participated, bringing together a diverse group eager to enhance their skills.

Throughout the camp, cadets engaged in a variety of training activities covering essential topics such as yoga, firing, map reading, field craft and battle drills, tent pitching, disaster management, road safety and environmental awareness. In addition to the rigorous training, the camp also featured various sports activities, fostering camaraderie and competitive spirit among the cadets. The winners of these competitions were duly recognized and awarded for their achievements.

The Combined NCC Annual Training Camp at SPSU exemplifies the university's commitment to excellence in training and development, providing a platform to the young cadets to grow, learn and prepare for future challenges.
