Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great zeal, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervor. The National Flag was proudly hoisted by Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav, the Honourable Vice Chancellor of the University. He paid homage to the freedom fighters, highlighted the significance of the day, and motivated students to stay positive and make concrete efforts toward their careers, the university, and nation-building. Prof. Yadav commended the potential of the youth and urged them to harness their innovative ideas and actively participate in the country's advancement. He encouraged students to set individualistic goals and aspire for greater achievements.
As a landmark initiative, taken by the Honourable Vice Chancellor, the University felicitated achievers across various categories, including sports, NCC, education, and more. Faculty members, students, and essential services staff who displayed exemplary talent were recognized and awarded for their contributions. The 3 students from Chiba University of Commerce, (CUC) Japan who were undergoing ‘International Exchange Programme’ were felicitated. The NSS cell organized a poster display on contemporary themes such as Energy Conservation, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Girl Child Education, Women Empowerment, and India @2030, all created by university students. The celebration also featured cultural programs that highlighted the nation’s pride and unity in diversity.
