Blood Donation Camp at SPSU

With a strong commitment to community service, the NCC Army Wing of Sir
Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, in collaboration with RNT Government
Medical College, Udaipur, organized a Blood Donation Camp on April 4, 2025, at the
SPSU campus. The event was held under the esteemed guidance of Honourable
President Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav and was inaugurated by Col. Prakash Kumar N,
Commanding Officer, 2 RAJ R & V Regiment, NCC Navania. This noble initiative
emphasizes the university’s dedication to social responsibility and its ongoing efforts
to instill a spirit of compassion and altruism among its students and staff. More than
79 units of blood were donated in the drive. As a token of acknowledgment, the
donors were presented with certificates of recognition and donor cards, entitling
them to receive one unit of blood free from the Blood Bank within the next six
months. The NCC wing of the university has been regularly organizing the blood
donation camp from the past 12 years and around 1200 units of blood has been
donated by the SPSU faculty, staff and students till date. The Campus Director, Lt.
Col. Neeraj Kumar and Deputy Dean Students’ Welfare, Lt. Dr. D. S. Chouhan,
encouraged students and faculty members to actively contribute to this noble cause.
The life-saving initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from the University's
Deans, Directors, faculty, students, and administrative staff, reflecting a strong
collective commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
