Academic Bank Revolutionizes Education

The Academic Bank of Credit's registration process has started under the National Education Policy 2020. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur, has secured the first position, and all the degree records of students from Sangam University, Bhilwara since its establishment in 2012 have been uploaded to the digital locker for students. Under the Academic Bank of Credit, Sangam University's students have obtained the fifth position in the registration process.

The Nodal Officer and Deputy Registrar of Sangam University, Mr B.L. Pareek, informed us that the first phase of student registrations has been completed. Now, the students' credit scores will be processed. The digitization of all student records is currently underway. Although there has been relatively slow progress in implementing the National Education Policy in the state, ABC is making strong strides in this direction. Around 78 institutions in the state are associated with ABC.

Mr B.L. Pareek explained the concept of the Academic Bank of Credit, likening it to a bank account for students' academic scores. The credit points earned in each semester are deposited in this bank. This system facilitates the easy transfer of students from one institution to another. Through this bank, students can take multiple entries and exits, allowing them to enrol in any institution in the country. On achieving the fifth position in ABC, congratulations and best wishes were extended by Professor Karunesh Saxena, Vice-Chancellor of Sangam University, Professor Rajeev Mehta, Registrar, Deputy Registrar (HR) Anurag Sharma, and others.
