Bhilwara, December 16, 2024 – Sangam University, Bhilwara, recognized as one of the All India University Academic and Administrative Development Centers, will host a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) from December 16 to 20, 2024, under the aegis of AIU-AADC. The theme of the program is "Integrating Indian Knowledge Systems in Modern Education: A NEP 2020 Perspective," with participants from across the country.
The FDP aims to explore the rich and diverse dimensions of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and their relevance in contemporary academic and intellectual contexts. The sessions are designed to align with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes the integration of traditional knowledge into modern education.
Over the five days, the program will feature 10 sessions led by distinguished speakers from various fields, including management, humanities, medical sciences, and science and technology. These experts will highlight the significant role of ancient Indian knowledge in shaping modern technological advancements and promoting innovative teaching approaches. This will provide participants with a rich experience, helping them understand the importance and application of IKS in the modern educational landscape.
