Bhilwara, – Sangam University hosted "Jugaad Mela 2.0 – Innovation: The Indian Way" to promote creativity and innovation. The event was organized in collaboration with Vigyan Bharati Bhilwara and showcased over 200 unique projects, including those related to technology, drones, robotics, and agriculture.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. S. N. Modani, Vice Chairman of Sangam India Limited, along with Vigyan Bharati President Karan Singh Singhvi, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Karunesh Saxena, and management member Palak Modani. The dignitaries inspected the projects and applauded the ingenuity displayed by the students.
In his address, Dr. S. N. Modani emphasized the need to encourage students interested in science and technology to contribute to innovative industries. Karan Singh Singhvi highlighted Vigyan Bharati's mission to revive ancient and indigenous science while fostering a scientific mindset among students.
Prof. Karunesh Saxena spoke about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Developed India 2047," adding that the innovations presented at the Jugaad Mela would play a vital role in achieving this vision.
Event Co-Convenor Dr. Manoj Kumawat shared that the top 10 projects were selected out of 200 entries, and winners were awarded cash prizes and trophies by Sangam ITBI. Marketing Head Dr. Amit Jain revealed the top three winners: Government Senior Secondary School, Kabra Kareda (1st), Government Senior Secondary School, Dhamania (2nd), and Vedant International School, Bhilwara (3rd).
Chief Guest Yogesh Chandra Parik expressed gratitude to Sangam University for providing a platform for student innovations and creativity. Prof. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, Pro Vice-Chancellor, encouraged students to aspire to become future scientists.
Registrar Prof. Rajeev Mehta congratulated the team for the successful event. The program was anchored by Richa Sharma and Vartika Vyas. Over 1,000 participants, including students, mentors, and faculty, attended the event. Faculty members of the engineering department, Vigyan Bharati representatives Dinesh Vijayvargiya, and Dr. Sunil Porwal were also present.
