National Workshop on Research Methodology Begins on March 18

Bhilwara | A 10-day National Workshop on Research Methodology, sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), will be held from March 18 to 27 at the Management Faculty of Sangam University. The workshop will see participation from 30 research scholars from prestigious universities across the country.

The workshop will cover a wide range of critical topics related to research methodology, including project formulation, identifying research objectives, literature review, sampling methods, data collection, statistical tools and techniques, proposal writing, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in research. 

The chief guest and speaker at the event will be Prof. Anand Paliwal, former member of the Law Commission of India and Dean, Department of Law at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. Prof. Amarendra Pani, Head of the Research Division, Association of Indian Universities, and Dr. Rajkumar Chaturvedi, Principal of MLV College, Bhilwara, will also share their insights as key speakers.

Sangam University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Karunesh Saxena, termed the workshop a significant achievement for the university and emphasized the importance of the initiative by ICSSR to promote research. The University’s Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, described it as an extremely useful workshop for research scholars and predicted an increase in the quality of research in the country.

Registrar Prof. Rajeev Mehta extended best wishes to the department for this initiative. Project Director Dr. Tanuja Singh stated that the workshop will also include practical training, enabling scholars to apply the concepts in their research work. Dr. Mukesh Sharma, Dean of the Management Faculty, added that scholars from prestigious institutions like Devi Ahilya University Indore, Kota University, Kerala University, Dayalbagh University Uttar Pradesh, Mandsaur University, Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur, Manipal University Jaipur, B.R. Ambedkar University, and Jiwaji University Gwalior will participate in this workshop.
