Inspection of Government Child Care Institution

Sri Ganganagar: Additional District Magistrate and Chair of the District-Level Inspection Committee, Mr. Arvind Jakhar, conducted a quarterly inspection of the Government Child Care Institution located at Kunj Vihar in the district headquarters of Sri Ganganagar. Mr. Rajeev Jakhar, Secretary, and Assistant Director of the District Child Protection Unit, provided information about the various facilities and activities being offered to the residing children."

"The Chairman of the Inspection Committee inquired about the education of the resident children and emphasized the importance of continuing their studies through open schooling. He encouraged the children to benefit from computer education being provided in the home and to actively participate in sports, yoga, and other activities. The children were educated on staying away from substance abuse and becoming responsible citizens of society."

"The Chairman also discussed the functioning of the Government Home and gathered information about the adoption process. A visit to the premises included an inspection of the Government Home and an overview of the functioning of the Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board. The cleanliness of the premises and amenities such as cold drinking water and shade for visitors were assessed."

"During this occasion, members of the District-Level Inspection Committee, Mr. Jogendra Kaushik, Mr. Udaypal Jhajharia, Dr. Prem Prakash Agrawal, Dr. Sanjay Rathi, Mr. Surendra Sharma, and Mrs. Vandana Gaur were present."
