Shri Ganganagar, As part of the "Swachhata Hi Seva" campaign under the Swachh Bharat Mission, themed "Swabhav Swachhta, Sanskar Swachhta," Sadulshahar MLA Shri Gurveer Singh Barad participated in a cleanliness drive on Tuesday at the statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar in Sadulshahar. He cleaned the statue and offered floral tributes.
During the program, MLA Barad informed the public about the cleanliness campaign and urged everyone to maintain cleanliness in their homes and surroundings, as well as to separate wet and dry waste. The event saw the participation of Sub-Divisional Officer Shri Ravi Kumar, Municipal Chairperson Smt. Kamlesh Kumari, Executive Officer Shri Rakesh Kumar Arora, along with councilors, dignitaries, municipal employees, and MNREGA workers, who took a cleanliness oath to kick off the campaign. A cleanliness rally was also organized.
Following the oath, under the leadership of the MLA, attendees participated in cleaning the bus stand and signed a pledge supporting the initiative. Additionally, the guests inspected the Shri Annapurna Kitchen located at the bus stand.
