Sri Ganganagar: Under the leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Shriyade Mati Kala Board of Rajasthan organized a free distribution program for electric pottery wheels and clay mixing machines in Sri Ganganagar. The initiative aims to empower pottery workers by making them self-reliant.
Shri Prahlad Rai Tak, Chairman of Shriyade Mati Kala Board, explained that following the instructions of the Chief Minister, the board selected 20 pottery workers from across the district through a lottery system to receive these machines. These workers had previously undergone a 10-day training camp, where they were taught modern pottery techniques and how to operate the equipment.
This initiative by the Shriyade Mati Kala Board not only aims to enhance the skills of traditional craftsmen but will also help economically empower them. The program seeks to revitalize traditional crafts and inspire the younger generation to take up this profession. At the conclusion of the program, all the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Rajasthan Government and the Shriyade Mati Kala Board, assuring that this support would bring positive changes in their lives and livelihoods.
