DPS Udaipur Players Shine at Badminton Championship

Udaipur: The players from Delhi Public School, Udaipur, showcased an outstanding performance at the District Badminton Championship organized by the Udaipur District Badminton Association from July 4 to 9 at Luv Kush Indoor Stadium.

In this competition, Pari Acharya won multiple medals, filling her tally with honors. She bagged a bronze medal in Under-17 singles, a silver medal in Under-19 singles, a bronze medal in senior singles, a silver medal in Under-19 doubles, a bronze medal in Under-17 doubles, a gold medal in Under-17 mixed doubles, a silver medal in Under-19 mixed doubles, and a bronze medal in senior mixed doubles, totaling eight medals and bringing great pride to her school.

In the same competition, Navya Baya won a silver medal in senior mixed doubles, Yathest Chawat secured a gold medal in Under-17 mixed doubles, Shlok Chawat clinched a gold medal in Under-19 mixed doubles and a bronze medal in senior mixed doubles, Rohan Bishnoi won a bronze medal in Under-17 doubles, and Riva Gurjar secured a gold medal in Under-17 singles. Their collective achievements propelled the school to the top position in the medal tally.

Principal Mr. Sanjay Narwaria expressed his delight and congratulated badminton coach Anand Kanungo, emphasizing the need to further encourage students' interest in sports. Prof. Vice Chairman Govind Agrawal, Principal Sanjay Narwaria, and Vice Principal Rajesh Dhabai extended heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and their parents, celebrating the players' remarkable success.
