*Udaipur:* In memory of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray and Dharmaveer Anand Dighe, the Udaipur unit of Shiv Sena is organizing the first-ever 10-day Shiv Sena Premier League, starting on October 14 at the MB College Ground. The trophy was unveiled today by Shiv Sena State Head Lakhansingh Panwar, Deputy Head Raviraj Singh Soni, along with Rahul Rathore, Giriraj, Yash Sahu, and other officials.
Lakhansingh Panwar shared details about the league, stating that this is the first event of its kind in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The main objective of the Shiv Sena Premier League is to provide a platform for young talents in society who, due to the lack of proper opportunities, cannot showcase their abilities. The event aims to bring forward such talents. Players from Udaipur and various districts of Rajasthan will participate in the league, with Ranji and national players also taking part. This will provide local talents with an opportunity to play and learn alongside top players.
Efforts are being made to invite dignitaries such as Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Maharashtra's Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Rajasthan's Sports Minister to the event.
Raviraj Soni mentioned that 16 teams will participate in the league, with three 20-over matches being played each day. Rahul Rathore added that the first-place winner will receive a cash prize of ₹1 lakh and a trophy, while the second and third-place winners will be awarded ₹51,000 and ₹11,000, respectively.
During the event, Lakhansingh Panwar also discussed politics, stating that Shiv Sena is touring Rajasthan and aims to emerge as a third front in the state. Currently, they have three MLAs who have joined the Shiv Sena. Addressing questions about the two factions of Shiv Sena, Panwar emphasized that simply writing the name 'Shiv Sena' doesn't make an organization Shiv Sena. "Ours, led by Eknath Shinde, follows the ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray, while the other faction aligns with the ideologies of Congress and Sharad Pawar," he remarked. Several officials, including Babulal Salvi, Vinod, Mangilal Prajapat, Ajay, Vikramsingh Baghela, Mahesh, and Jagdish, were present.
Later in the evening, Panwar, along with Shiv Sena officials, visited Devaraj's house to meet his parents and offered condolences, assuring them of full support in seeking justice for the accused.
