Mission Uday Shines at Haryana Open Kids Athletics Championship

Sonipat, December 18, 2024: Athletes associated with ‘Mission Uday’ have showcased exceptional performance at the Haryana Open Kids Athletics Championship, winning a total of 4 medals, including 2 silver and 2 bronze. These athletes received training under the joint initiative of Reliance Foundation and Model Economic Township Limited, Jhajjar.

A total of 6 athletes associated with the program participated in the state-level competition, which saw participants from 6 states. The event was organized in Sonipat by Athletics Haryana, Athletics Federation of India, and the Haryana Olympic Association.

These athletes were trained for 5 months at the Reliance Physical Training Center in Dadritto village, Jhajjar district. Most of the medal winners hail from the villages of Bamnaula, Pelpa, Dadritto, and Dhani in Jhajjar district.

Vansh from Bamnaula won a silver medal in the Under-12 category 100-meter race, while Karuna from Dhani secured a bronze. Garvit from Pelpa won a silver in the Under-10 category 100-meter race, and Aditya from Dadritto earned a bronze in the Under-12 category 80-meter race.
