Pragya Upadhyay Wins Gold in Powerlifting

The World Power Sports Federation is organizing an International Bodybuilding and Powerlifting Competition in 2025. The federation is selecting top bodybuilders and powerlifters from across India to encourage them to continue their best performances.

The selection competition was held on February 23, 2025, in Sangam Vihar, Delhi, where female powerlifter Pragya Upadhyay showcased an outstanding performance and won the gold medal in the powerlifting event. Her family and relatives celebrated her victory with a grand welcome.

On her selection for international games, coach Rakesh Sharma expressed his happiness and encouraged her to work even harder to make India proud on the global stage. Friends and relatives also extended their heartfelt congratulations to Pragya Upadhyay and coach Rakesh Sharma.
