100% Registration of Unorganized Sector Workers in Welfare Schemes

Kota . A meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Additional District Collector (City) Anil Singhal to discuss the effective implementation of the Prime Minister’s Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, registration of unorganized workers (e-Shram), the Child Labor Prevention Task Force, the Bonded Labor Vigilance Committee, and the Building and Other Construction Workers’ Board Task Force at the district level.

He urged all officials, NGOs, trade associations, and union representatives to work in coordination to ensure 100% registration and effective implementation of these schemes.

Singhal emphasized the need for widespread promotion of the Prime Minister’s Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana and other programs to provide social security to unorganized sector workers. He instructed various departments to connect unorganized workers to the Prime Minister’s Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana and the e-Shram card scheme. He also directed that the valuation of under-construction buildings be conducted to ensure the necessary deduction of taxes, so that the benefits of welfare schemes can be utilized for the education, skill development, and other needs of construction workers and their dependents.

Joint Labor Commissioner Deepak Yadav provided updates on the assigned tax targets for Kota district, progress regarding e-Shram cards, the Prime Minister’s Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, and activities related to child and bonded labor.
