Literature-Based Quiz Competition at the Public Library

Kota : A quiz competition on the theme "Literature and Tourism" was held at the Government Public Library, organized by the Culture, Literature, and Media Forum. In the college-level Arts category, Ankit Bansal and Abhishek Meena emerged as top scorers, while in the Science category, Aashish Soni and Anju Singh were recognized as the top four participants. Following the announcement of results on Thursday, the three attendees were honored with tilak and garlands.

On this occasion, Library President Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava stated that there is a significant relationship between literature and tourism. He noted that literature can become a form of cultural tourism. A total of 57 college-level students participated in the competition, all of whom are preparing for various other competitions.

Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singhal emphasized that literature connects us to culture. In today’s internet age, it is essential for students to develop an interest in reading the works of timeless literary figures, as this will help them understand their culture and society better.

The competition included questions on a variety of topics, including literature, culture, tourism, geography, religion, rivers, deserts, painting, history, and archaeology. All participants scored above 50% out of a total of 30 points. One student scored 26 points, while three others scored 25 points, leading the judging panel to declare all four as top performers.
