Kamlesh Gupta Dalal, a notable figure in the field of eye donation, has been appointed as the City Coordinator for Bhawanimandi by Shine India Foundation.
Dr. Kulwant Goel, President of Shine India Foundation, shared that Bhawanimandi has been making remarkable progress in the field of eye donation. A total of 122 pairs of eyes have been donated from Bhawanimandi to the organization, making it a leader not just in eye donations but also in the commitment to eye donation. Furthermore, 5,100 individuals from Bhawanimandi have pledged to donate their eyes.
Considering Kamlesh Gupta Dalal's significant contributions to the cause of eye donation, the foundation has entrusted him with the special responsibility of City Coordinator, aiming to spread the mission of eye donation to every household in the city.
Dr. Kulwant Goel mentioned that since coming into contact with Dalal in 2013, Shine India Foundation has expanded its work in Bhawanimandi and surrounding areas. The foundation has received eye donations not only from Bhawanimandi but also from distant areas like Sunel, Mishrouli, Singhpur, Dag, Chomehla, Kadodiya, and Bakani.
Recently, Dalal was honored with the "Excellence in Social Service Award-2024" at a grand regional-level ceremony in Kota, where he was felicitated by Alok Kumar, International President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Patron of Dadhichi Body Donation Committee, New Delhi; Kapil Garg, Former Director General of Police, Rajasthan; and industrialist Tarachand Goyal.
Expressing gratitude for the new responsibility, Kamlesh Dalal stated that the role is a reflection of the respect for all the eye donor families in the city and region. With the support of Jyoti Mitras like Vivek Jain, Sonu Chhabra, Narendra Jain, Rajesh Nahar, Pintu Jaiswal, Rajesh Karavan, Manju Bharadia, Anshita Vrindani, and others, he aims to further promote the cause of eye donation and fulfill his duties effectively.
