DRM Honors Two Officers and Thirty-Eight Employees with Rail Service Awards

Kota: As part of the 69th Rail Week celebrations, the Rail Service Awards were distributed on April 1 at the Menal Officer's Club, marking the establishment day of the Kota Division. The Kota Division was established on April 1, 1952. During the award ceremony held at the division, DRM Anil Kalra honored two gazetted officers—Assistant Operations Manager Upendra C.P. Singh and Assistant Signal and Telecom Engineer Shakti Kant Meena—and 38 non-gazetted railway employees from various departments for their outstanding work.

The Rail Service Award ceremony was organized under the leadership of Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Suprakash. On the occasion of the establishment day, several activities were conducted, including tree planting, a heritage exhibition, cultural programs, a splendid group performance of Rajasthani folk dance, the establishment of selfie points, and a performance of the song "Ruk Jana Nahi."

During the award ceremony, DRM Anil Kalra presented certificates of appreciation to employees from various departments including Finance & Accounts, Commercial, Electrical, Civil, General Administration, Passenger, Medical, Operations, Personnel, Security, S&T, and Stores. Additionally, a prize of ₹20,000 was announced for the team responsible for organizing the event.

The event was attended by Additional Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Kumar Dhurandhar, along with all senior officials, the Chairperson of the Women’s Welfare Organization, representatives of recognized unions, and a large number of employees.
