Bhilwara, Thousands of devotees were eager to dip in the uninterrupted devotion to Sankatmochan Hanumanji Maharaj through bhajans. This view was seen during the tremendous bhajan evening organized on the first day of the two-day Hanuman Jayanti celebrations by Shri Sankatmochan Hanuman Mandir, located near the main post office in the city on Wednesday night. While the artistes were worshiping Hanumanji Maharaj through hymns on the stage, the devotees were dancing in front of the pandal and chanting.
Bhajan evening started with Ganapati Vandana and Hanuman Vandana by Gopal Sen. Renowned bhajan singer Pramod Tripathi won the hearts of the
devotees with the rendition of bhajans like Ram Janaki Baithe Hai Mere Seene Mein Bajrang Bali Ko Pranam, Chamcham Nache Dekho Veer Hanumana, etc. Jaipur resident Bollywood singers Pramod Tripathi, Uma Lahiri, and Gopal Sen, along with their team, performed bhajans full of devotion to Shri Hanumanji Maharaj, the exclusive devotee of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shriram in this bhajan evening organized in the presence of Mahant Babugiriji Maharaj of the temple from 8 pm. He Gave such a presentation that the whole atmosphere got drenched with devotional juice, and the devotees kept echoing Jai Shree Ram and Ram devotee Hanumanji Maharaj everywhere.
Famous bhajan singer Uma Lahiri, along with Chopai Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari, bhajan Siyaram Naam Mat Wala, Hai Bajrangbali Tumko So So Bar Pranam, Meri Badi to Mera Baba Hi Banega, etc. received a lot of appreciation from the devotees. Such a stream of Bhaktiras flowed in this bhajan evening that lasted till late night; even till late night, hundreds of devotees kept dipping in the river of bhajans. At the beginning of Bhajan Sandhya, saints, and guests started the event by lighting the lamp in front of the image of Shri Ram Darbar and Hanumanji Maharaj. Balaji's Akhand Jyot was also burned, which remained lit throughout the event.

2500 kg cashew nuts will be offered to Hanumanji Maharaj.
On Hanuman Jayanti, 2500 kg cashew nuts will be offered to Hanumanji Maharaj after Mahaarti at Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple at 12.15 pm. After Mahaarti and Mahabhog, cashew nut prasad will be distributed among the devotees. An 11 kg cake will also be cut on the birth anniversary of Hanumanji.
A team of more than fifty artisans has been engaged in the work of preparing Kajukatli for Mahabhog since last April. This is considered the biggest Mahabhog offered in any temple on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti in Rajasthan. On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, a musical Sunderkand recitation will be presented by Naval Bhardhaj and colleagues of Saket Ramayana Mandal outside Shri Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple from 8 pm.
Swarnachola offered to Hanumanji Maharaj.
On Wednesday, the first day of the two-day event, the statue of Hanumanji Maharaj installed in Shri Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple was offered a golden robe. Mahant Babugiriji Maharaj said that worship was done along with offering Swarnchola. The idol was specially decorated on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.

Grand decorations were done on the Sankatmochan Hanuman temple premises for the Hanuman Jayanti event. The temple premises were attractively decorated with beautiful flowers. On the occasion of the Hanuman Jayanti festival, unique decorations and lights were done outside the temple from the city council square to the Golpayau square. This decoration was also attracting the devotees coming for Bhajan Sandhya.

The bhajan evening was organized on the eve of Hanuman Jayanti; they witnessed a massive gathering of devotees overflowing with reverence. Devotees not only arrived from every area of the city in Bhajan Sandhya, but many devotees also came from nearby rural areas to enjoy the Bhajan Sandhya. Hundreds of devotees had reached the bhajan evening from Karohi under the leadership of Natvarsingh Ranawat, president of Sawariya Hanuman Mandir Mela Committee. Buses were also arranged for the pilgrims coming from Karohi to Bhilwara.
