Generate interest in environmental protection among common people

A meeting of Jantualaya Vikas Trust was organized in the meeting room of the Divisional Commissioner's office on Friday evening under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Rajendra Bhatt and in the presence of District Collector Tara Chand Meena. 
In the meeting, Deputy Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Ajay Chittora informed about the trust's various tasks, responsibilities and goals.
In the meeting, Bhatt gave essential guidelines regarding cleaning roads, karal and path-way in Sajjangarh Biological Park, water supply in the Biological Park, electrical equipment maintenance, and wildlife care. Apart from this, the Divisional Commissioner discussed the maintenance of facing and Karal Night Shelter, Lion Safari, toilet construction, expansion of facilities for tourists, eradication of Lantana in Sajjangarh and said that better facilities should be provided to the visiting tourists.
On this occasion, retired CCF Rahul Bhatnagar suggested taking the help of an engineer from UIT or PWD in civil construction works. The Divisional Commissioner insisted on installing signage in the Biological Park, maintenance and publicity of the Bird Park.
Instructions for making a better action plan for Bird Festival
Divisional Commissioner Bhatt said in the meeting that the participation of common people in the upcoming Bird Festival should be increased manifold compared to earlier. For this, the forest department should prepare a good plan, create awareness among the people about the environment and try that more and more people come to the bird festival to know the world of birds. He expressed the need to emphasize making people aware of wildlife conservation. Retired CCF Rahul Bhatnagar gave many important suggestions to promote eco-tourism. The trust's income, expenditure and profit were discussed in the meeting. Further, they discussed the estimated expenses to be incurred in the coming time.
