###National Mental Health Day Celebrated at St. Matthew's Mission School*

On August 8, St. Matthew's Mission School in Udaipur hosted a special seminar in observance of National Mental Health Day. The seminar was organized by Dr. Moomal Chawda, the founder of Ekra Counseling Center. The event's chief guest, Dr. Rajshree Gandhi Verma, a senior social worker and National President of the Consumer Protection Organization, spoke extensively about the importance of children's mental health and encouraged them to adopt a positive outlook in life.

Dr. Rajshree Gandhi Verma highlighted the growing need to maintain children's mental health in today's changing social and educational environments. She emphasized that mental stress, exam pressure, and issues arising in peer relationships can significantly impact children's mental well-being. "Empowering our children mentally is our greatest responsibility. We must provide them with timely guidance and support to maintain their mental health in the right direction," Dr. Gandhi remarked.

She advised students on methods to manage stress, including practices like meditation, yoga, and regular exercise. Dr. Gandhi also stressed the importance of encouraging children to share their emotions, so they don't feel isolated when facing problems. "It's essential to teach children that sharing their feelings is not a sign of weakness but a reflection of mental strength," she added.

Dr. Rajshree Gandhi Verma further suggested that both schools and parents should work together to strengthen children's mental health. She noted, "A healthy society can only be built when our children are mentally healthy and happy."

The seminar concluded with a powerful play performed by the school's psychology students, focusing on mental health issues. The performance inspired self-awareness and the importance of maintaining positive mental health among the children. The event successfully raised awareness and motivated the students to take necessary steps to strengthen their mental well-being.
