Udaipur, The brochure for the 20th International Conference of the Rajasthan Association for Studies in English was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Sunita Mishra, the Vice-Chancellor of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, in her office. On this occasion, she emphasized the significance of such conferences for the university. Dr. Meenakshi Jain, the Head of the English Department and Conference Director, stated that the conference, focusing on the theme "Understanding Geocentrism, Naturalism, and Collectivism through Indigenous Literatures," will be held in November.
Coordinator Dr. Kushpal Garg explained that the conference will not only involve experts in the field but also provide an opportunity for participants to interact with authors, artists, and poets from this community. Conference Secretary Saurabh Meena announced that during the conference, all participants will be taken to experience the indigenous culture in a tribal region for a day.
Prof. Hemendra Chandaliya, the President of the Association, mentioned that the association was founded in 2003 at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth and has organized 19 conferences across various locations in the state over the past 19 years. He also highlighted that the association boasts nearly three hundred lifelong members from across the country. The association publishes an annual journal and maintains a website where all conference information and registration forms are available.
