Central Public School Celebrates Diwali Festival

On Thursday, November 9, 2023, Diwali Utsav 2023 was organized at Central Public Senior Secondary School in New Bhupalpura, Udaipur. The festival commenced with the auspicious presence of Chief Guests - Mrs. Anshu Kothari, Dr. Sweety Chhabda, Mrs. Madhu Sareen, and other dignitaries, including Mrs. Archna Charan, C.A. Shanu Lodha, Mr. Mohan Gopal, Mrs. Chhaya Porwal. The event began with the traditional worship of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha.

Witnessing all members of the C.P.S. administration, teachers, and students adorned in traditional attire was a captivating sight. The competition within the school for the best-decorated thali in the intramural competition showcased sixteen different, creatively decorated thalis. The presentation of thalis, Rangoli, and mandanas by each group displayed a unique blend of traditional techniques. The competition results saw Blue House and Saffron House securing the first position, while Yellow House - Green House secured the second position.

The students of the school presented a graceful dance performance that added to the festive spirit. The main attraction of the program included various competitions. Awards were presented to the teachers for the best traditional attire, best Kangna (wrist ornament), best Kesh Sajja (hairstyle), best Bindi, best jewelry, and the most attractive personality.

A Garba Raas event was organized for students from classes 1 to 12, as well as parents. The school's Director, Mrs. Alka Sharma, Director - Mr. Anil Sharma, Joint Director - Mr. Vikram Jeet Singh Shekhawat, Principal - Mrs. Poonam Rathore, Administrator - Mr. Sunil Babel, and Headmistress - Mrs. Krishna Shaktawat extended Diwali greetings to all.
