Udaipur: A Faculty Development Program on Artificial Intelligence was held at Sai Tirupati University, Umarada, organized by PIMS Institute of Computer Sciences. The event saw participation from principals and faculty members of all constituent colleges of the university.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Avneesh Khare, delivered a lecture on the potential, utility, significance, impact, benefits, and challenges of Artificial Intelligence in the medical and paramedical fields. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Prashant Nahar called upon the entire faculty to adopt rapidly evolving technologies like AI to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in fields such as medical science, pharmacy, nursing, and physiotherapy.
The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony by distinguished guests including Dr. Chandra Mathur, Dr. Suresh Goyal, Dr. Khemchand Gupta, Dr. Vijay Singh Rawat, and Dr. Mohammad Yunus. Dr. Rimjhim Gupta, Director of PIMS, welcomed all the guests, and Devrishi Mehta expressed gratitude. The program was conducted by Jyoti Kataria and Deepak Sindal.
