"Quality Circle Forum of India" Concludes Two-Day Convention

The National Institute of Quality Circle Forum of India's (QCFI) regional chapter, "Rajsamand Chapter," successfully organized a two-day convention on the theme "Nurturing Quality Philosophies for a Better Future." The event took place at the grand auditorium of Hotel Bhavgeet, Shobhapura, with the presence of over four hundred delegates and guests on September 11th and 12th.

The convention was presided over by Mr. Radheshyam Kedia, the chapter's president and Vice President of J.K. Tyres, Kankroli. The chief guest for the first day was Mr. Narendra Singh Rathore, Director of Geetanjali Institute of Technology. In his address, he emphasized the importance of adhering to productivity, quality, innovation, and superior customer service as the key goals in today's competitive landscape. He highlighted the relevance of QCFI's quality-related programs in developing industries and the service sector, encouraging industry representatives present to derive maximum benefit from such initiatives.

Mr. Kedia provided a comprehensive overview of QCFI's programs and invited greater industry participation in QCFI's upcoming TQM convention scheduled for October. He expressed confidence that industry professionals and employees present at the event would leverage this opportunity to contribute to their respective organizations and the nation's progress.

On the convention's second day, Mr. Manoj Joshi, former president of the Kaladwas Chamber of Commerce and current Chairman of Mold Makers, addressed the audience. He enthralled the participants by singing a song that resonated with the productivity, quality, and national development theme. Mr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice President - HR, shared his experiences with QCFI for nearly three decades, emphasizing how embracing quality philosophies enhances individuals' intellectual capabilities and fosters their participation in product quality improvement and national development.

Dr. Mahima Birla concluded the event by thanking all attendees and shedding light on the technological and managerial innovations taking place in educational institutions. She spoke about the importance of nurturing innovation and excellence in technology and management.

On September 12th, Mr. Manoj Joshi, the main guest, addressed the convention and led all participants in singing a song that embodied the themes of productivity, quality, and national development. Mr. Manoj Soni, Vice President of Hindustan Zinc, encouraged industry representatives to learn from each other's presentations and implement these improvements in their workplaces.

A total of 96 teams participated in the convention, with teams from organizations like Secure Meters Udaipur, JK Tyres, JK Lakshmi Cement Sirohi, JK Lakshmi Cement Jhajjar, National Chemical Fertilizers Mumbai, J.S.W. Barmer, National Thermal Power Corporation - Kahlgaon, Dadri, Anta, Hindustan Zinc Rajpura Dariba Mines, Hindustan Zinc Chanderiya, Hindustan Zinc Dariba, Hindustan Zinc Debari, and Hindustan Zinc S.K. Mines, contributing to the event's success.

Of these, 84 teams were awarded gold medals for their quality-driven presentations, while 12 received silver medals. Eminent quality experts, including Mr. Sunil Kumar Jagasia, Former CIO; Mr. Rohit, TQM Specialist, Dr. Narendra Kumar Sharma, Vice President of the Rajasthan Chapter; Mr. Ramesh Suthar, Dr. Sanjna Sharma, Mr. Yajuvendra Srivastava, Mr. Dinesh Paneri, and Mr. Narayan Lal Mali, assessed the presentations. Distinguished guests and quality experts distributed the medals.

The convention served as a platform for knowledge sharing and mutual learning, reaffirming the commitment of industry professionals to the principles of quality and innovation.
