Amodini Film Festival Witnesses Panel Discussions and Screening

Jaipur:* The second day of the Amodini International Film Festival, organized by Dola Foundation Social Welfare Trust at the Rajasthan International Convention Center in Jhalana, Jaipur, featured four panel discussions and screenings of seven films.


Director Ashok Pandit led a session, shedding light on cinema, theater, and other aspects while responding to the audience's queries. The festival, dedicated to promoting multilingual cinema, showcased a variety of films and engaged in discussions on the changing landscape of cinema, filmmaking, acting, and other related topics.

Event organizer Devjyoti Ray mentioned that the day began with the screening of Bengali film "Doansh," followed by other films like "Kanhaiya," "Bharat Circus," and "Maa Alap." Additionally, four separate panel discussions were conducted. The first discussion, titled "Metro and Rajasthan," was led by Somendra Sengupta. The second discussion, "Create Space in Film: A Talk by ISRO," was led by Girendra Pratap Singh. Dr. Ashok Pandit conducted the third discussion on "World Remain Silent," and the fourth discussion, "Why Giving Up on Your Dreams Is Not an Option," was led by Shweta Mehta.

Ray further revealed that the festival would culminate with an awards night ceremony, honoring individuals in the theater and film industry for their outstanding contributions. The two-day festival showcased 15 films in Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, Malayalam, and German languages. Sanjay Bhushan Patiala serves as the film's promoter.
